Kenney celebrated his birthday this past Sunday, born in East London, England, on September 16, 1948.

Although he won't be touring with The Who on their Quadrophenia tour this fall (Zak Starkey will be sitting at the drum kit), he can boast that he's drummed for the band on two albums, as well as on Who tours between 1979 and 1982, and at Live Aid, as well.

He's best known perhaps for his work in The Small Faces/Faces, for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.

He formed The Law with Paul Rodgers in the early 90's and has also lent his chops to countless recording sessions, including appearances on albums by The Stones, Wings, and many others.
