23-year-old Man Dies After Being Shot in Atlantic City, NJ

A 23-year-old man has died after being shot in Atlantic City Tuesday night.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says the incident happened just after 8:00 on Florida Avenue between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues.

Officers with the Atlantic City Police Department arrived and found the victim, Luis Rosa Rodriguez, who was taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center-City Division. There, he was pronounced dead this afternoon.

This is an active homicide investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office in cooperation with the Atlantic City Police Department.
