After a long break due to a game cancellation from severe weather, the Philadelphia Wings are set to take to the turf again this Saturday, January 27th, at 7:30 PM to take on the San Diego Seals. On top of being their first game in 20 days, this home game will be special for another reason.

Due to high demand by fans, the Philadelphia Wings are bringing back their Wings Emo Evening. This theme night has been a favorite of fans and that is exactly why it’s returning again for another year. Emo Night will include a pregame and halftime performance, non-stop pop punk music, and special themed activities to keep the fans in the spirit all night long.

This year's performances will begin with Jersey Calling, a South Jersey based pop-punk band, starting the night's entertainment in the East Food Hall. During halftime, the Wings will be giving a very warm welcome to The Starting Line. Originally from Bucks County, the band has been together and performing since 1999. The group has scored songs that have been featured in the film She’s The Man, had a song covered by The 1975 in concert last year, and created top hits like “Island” and “Up and Go”.

The Starting Line are coming off of playing two sold-out performances in Philly in December 2023, but this halftime performance will mark their biggest hometown show ever. The group will be teasing new music for the first time since they released music in 2015. The concert will take place turf-level in the Party Zone.

With lots to look forward to coming up for Emo Evening, fans can grab their tickets and find more event information at https://wingslax.com/emo/
