Is The Toms River Walmart On Route 37 Looking To Expand The Current Location?
According to reports, it appears the Toms River Walmart, located on Route 37, in Ocean County, is looking to expand on the current store.

Shorebeat Toms River reported, "Walmart is seeking approval to expand its store on Route 37 West by nearly 48,200 square feet, including a larger grocery section and a dedicated area for online order pickup and delivery, according to a Toms River planning board notice filed this week."

As Toms River continues to grow, so should its stores, and Walmart is a very popular "go-to" for many people in Toms River and its surrounding communities. Having an updated and newly designed store for residents on the existing property makes a lot of sense.

Shorebeat Toms River added, "The Toms River planning board will discuss the matter during a public hearing on the proposal at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, at the township municipal complex on Washington Street. The board may adjourn the hearing to a later date and time if needed."
