New Jersey’s Best Family-Friendly Restaurant is a Blast From Start to Finish
New Jersey's best family-friendly restaurant is definitely a blast from start to finish. Lovefood did a recent article that was looking for the best "family-friendly" restaurants in America. A place everyone can enjoy. "Finding a wonderful independent restaurant that will appeal to all ages, and please even the pickiest of palates, isn’t easy. Kids can be fussy, teenagers can be fussier, and most adults probably don’t want to spend every mealtime in a soft play area. We’ve scoured the options in every US state to come up with some of the best family-friendly places to eat, where everyone can enjoy their meal – and there's not a big chain among them."
By the way, Lovefoods' "selections are based on genuine user reviews, awards and accolades, and the first-hand experience of our team. They're also regularly checked and updated." So what was the selection for us here in the Garden State? I will say that we took our kids several times to this restaurant at several different locations and they enjoyed it.
Lovefood selected Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament, Lyndhurst as the "Best Family-Friendly Restaurant" in New Jersey. If you have never been, it's fun. The food is what it is, very basic kinda like a BBQ picnic, but add the show and you have a fun time for everyone. There is lots of cheering and each section at dinner gets its own knight who battles for the championship. So enjoy the chicken and yell for your team, it's a simply fun time and kids love it. We went to Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and Orlando, Florida.
Medieval Times is a rowdy interactive dinner show and you are part of the kingdom as a loyal subject, so don't upset the King and Queen. "This one’s more than a little different: a combination of jousting, equestrian displays, falconry, and dinner. It’s easy to see why Medieval Times is so popular with families – surely no child could claim to be bored while seated in a castle and surrounded by horses and heroic knights? The four-course feast is designed to be eaten with your hands, too, which is another feature kids adore."
