According to a recent article from 6 ABC Action News, Hallmark’s “Merriest Christmas Town” Contest is searching for communities that really know how to do Christmas. Real American towns with beautiful decorations, holiday traditions, local events, and, most importantly, towns that come together and have a lot of Christmas spirit.

And here’s the really cool part. Twenty-five towns will earn the title of a Hallmark Christmas Town, but one lucky town will be named Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town and could actually become the filming location for a Hallmark Christmas movie.

One New Jersey town has been named to the 25 Hallmark Christmas Towns List! Cape May, New Jersey, has made the list and is in the running to be named Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town.

I have been to Cape May at Christmas, and it is like something out of a Hallmark movie. I think a Hallmark Christmas movie filmed in Cape May would be amazing, and I have voted for Cape May!
