I've lived and worked in Ocean County, NJ for years, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's this: people here really care about where they live.

Yes, we joke about the Garden State Parkway turning into a parking lot every summer. We know exactly when to avoid Route 9, and we all have that one back road we swear saves us five minutes. Summer traffic is simply part of life here.

Even so, I wouldn't want to call anywhere else home.
