Shoppers in New Jersey and across much of the United States are being urged to check their pantries after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced another recall of a popular freeze-dried fruit snack.

What Product Is Included in the Recall in New Jersey

The freeze-dried fruit snack could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a potentially dangerous bacteria.

Where the Recalled Snack Was Sold

These specific freeze-dried fruit snack are sold exclusively at Sam's Club.

The actual product is called Doehler Dry Ingredient Solutions, LLC - Member's Mark Freeze-Dried Fruit Variety Pack. Each box includes 15 individual snack pouches featuring strawberries, bananas and apples.

The UPC code you're looking for, according to the FDA:  1 93968 50900 2 and “best by” dates ranging from June 24, 2027, through July 25, 2027. The recall applies to specific lot numbers printed on the underside of the packaging.

The recalled freeze-dried fruit packs were distributed between July 1 and July 25, 2025, to Sam’s Club locations in more than 40 states, including NEW JERSEY.  With Sam’s Club’s broad membership base, the impacted product may have reached thousands of homes across the country.

While no illnesses have been reported so far, the company and the FDA are urging consumers not to take any chances.

If you purchased the Member’s Mark Freeze-Dried Fruit Variety Pack during the affected dates: Throw it away immediately or Return it to any Sam’s Club location for a full refund — no receipt is required.
