I was very fortunate to have seen Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford New Jersey this summer because the show has come to an end, at least for this year. When we saw Bruce at the end of August you would have never known he was dealing with health issues, but now those issues have caught up with the "Boss" and it is forcing him to put his health first and re-coup for the remainder of the year.

Bruce Springsteen Postpones Tour For The Rest of the Year, Here's Why. According to a post from the Patch, "Springsteen, 74, has been dealing with peptic ulcer disease for several weeks." This has led to the change in plans for the remainder of the 2023 Springsteen and the E Street Band Tour. "According to the Mayo Clinic, peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of the stomach and the upper portion of the small intestine. The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain."

We wish the best for Bruce and a speedy recovery. Time off and medical care will be best for the Boss and hopefully, he will be back in 2024. According to the Patch report, "As for the postponed 2023 concerts, rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week, all taking place at their originally scheduled venues, according to a social media post from Springsteen."
