
New Jersey Kids Can Unplug And Learn Surf Fishing This Summer
Being out in the sun, enjoying the ocean, and learning something new!
It's always fun learning new things, and if your kids have been talking about surf fishing this summer, this could be the perfect opportunity to give it a try.
The kids will pick up all the basics like how to cast, tie knots, choose the right lures and bait, and even how to "read" a beach to figure out where the fish are most likely to be.

The National Park Service and the American Littoral Society are working together to help kids build new skills, teaching kids surf fishing on Sandy Hook

Children aged 10 to 16 are welcome with a supervising adult.
And make sure you pack a lunch or bring some snacks. Also, parents must bring a copy of their NJ Saltwater Registry License.

Monday, August 17th, 10 am - 2:30 pm
