The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 400 out of Asbury Park got together last week to donate $25,000 in PPE supplies to the nine hospitals in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The donations consisted of surgical masks, KN95 masks, hand sanitizer, and food.

Robert Shimko, Business Manager of IBEW 400, said:

Our hospitals and healthcare workers are in the fight of their lives, and we all need to help out in any way we can. During this critical time, there is nothing more important than the protection of our healthcare heroes on the front lines fighting this virus. On behalf of our 600 members, we thank you for your service, dedication, and compassion during this coronavirus fight.
