A Howell man was arrested at the Outerbridge Crossing in Staten Island because police say he had more than $94,000 in unpaid tolls and fees.

Port Authority police say they saw Sean Haluska drive through the E-ZPass lane without paying. When the police stopped him, they found he was driving on a suspended license. When they investigated further, they checked his E-ZPass account and discovered nearly 1,500 violations, totaling about $94,600 in tolls and fees.

Haluska was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration, larceny and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Maybe he should've invested in a license plate cover.
