Our news department reported that people need to make $90,000 a year to experience "happiness".  That sounds absurd to me, what do you think?

The median income for a New Jersey resident is $35,928, so this stupid report asserts that the average New Jerseyianite needs to make two-and-a-half times more money to be happy?

Obviously the lifestyle of a radio personality lends itself to luxury and excess, so $90k would be a step down from my usual caviar-eatin', champagne-drinkin', stylin', profilin', limousine-ridin', jet-flyin', kiss-stealin', wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun ways...what was I talking about?

If you need any amount of money to be happy, from $90k to a million to five bucks, you have your priorities out of order. I know it's cliche, but money does not equal happiness. Sure, if someone wants to leave their vast fortune to me, I wouldn't decline...but for now, I'm happy living small.
