WalletHub crunched the numbers to see how every state in the country ranked when it came to "Happiness", basing their results on variables like depression rates, employment, community involvement, and more.

According to their researched, New Jersey is the FIFTH happiest state!

Hawaii comes in at #1, with Utah, Minnesota, and California rounding out the rest of the Top 5. The five most unhappy states? 45-50: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alaska, Arkansas, and West Virginia.
