If there's one thing most of New Jersey can agree on, it's that we love Guy Fieri.

The celebrity chef and larger-than-life TV personality is a treasure to us in the Garden State; we love hearing what he has to say about our local diners, drive-ins, and dives.

Recently, though, it's been kind of quiet on the Guy Fieri front. We haven't heard any news or announcements of him getting ready to fill in the Garden State, and that got me thinking, "What restaurants should Guy Fieri visit on his next trip to Jersey?"

What Kind Of Restaurants Does Guy Fieri Look For?

A few things to keep in mind when you ask this question are that Guy Fieri likes locally run restaurants.

He likes places that have a lot of personality.

And he, of course, loves a place that has good food.

3 Ocean County, NJ Restaurants Guy Fieri Should Visit

So, these are my three recommendations of places Guy Fieri should visit on his next trip to New Jersey, specifically if he visits Ocean County.

  1. The Anchor Inn; tucked away in my quiet town of Ocean Gate, the Anchor Inn is the epitome of a local spot; the speicals are handwritten, the bartenders know your drink order before you eve sit down, and the food is hand made and delicious. It's the kind of place that you visit and feel like you've stepped back in time, and I think Guy Fieri would love it. He'd have to try either the Delmonico steak or the eggplant parm.

  1. Der Wunder Weiner, located right off Route 9 in Bayville, may be one of the most popular hot dog trucks in Ocean County. The menu has hot dogs, sandwiches, and fried favorites like onion rings, but I'd reccomend Guy Fieri try the Italian Style Hot Dog, which is a hot dog wrapped in pizza bread and topped with potatoes, mustard, pepper, and onion.
  2. And lastly, I'd reccomend Guy Fieri checks out Taco-Tastic. This is hands down my favorite place to grab some Mexican food, and I think Guy would love it. The California Bowl is to die for. The meats are prepared fresh, and I really think Guy Fieri would get a kick out of the place.

So, if you had to reccomend a few places around Jersey for Guy Fieri to check out, where would you send him?
