A Gregg Allman fan was stabbed on Wednesday (Jan. 4) during a concert featuring the Allman Brothers Band singer that took place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. As reported by Spinner, Ronald Sixt Jr. took a knife jab to the face and was treated for minor facial lacerations after a fight broke out during the show.

Apparently, Sixt bumped into a drunken 44-year-old Carl Darren Brothers, who was seated beside him, causing Brothers to become aggressive. The two men started arguing while Allman was on stage and fought for a while before Brothers pulled a knife out of his pocket and stabbed Sixt.

The security at the venue broke up the fight and subsequently called the police. CBS reported that Brothers was booked and charged with aggravated assault, public intoxication and disorderly conduct, but has since been released. Meanwhile, Sixt probably feels like he’s been tied to the ‘Whipping Post.’
