Of course, Jersey is home to some fantastic bakeries. 502 Bakery in Brick is one of my favorites.

You also have Fumosa Brothers in Ortley who still use an old-fashioned bread slicer which is pretty neat.

And of course, if you're looking for a solid crumb cake, Muellers Bakery in Bayhead is a must. People agree they make some of the best crumb cakes in the state.

That being said, another bakery that opened in November is getting an exciting new addition this coming spring, and I'm looking forward to checking it out for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, it's this bakery's first location in New Jersey.

This bakery got its start in Staten Island and is well known there for its Italian and French baked goods.

Secondly, in addition to baked goods, you'll also be able to get your sweet tooth fix if baked goods aren't quite your thing.

The recently opened bakery is getting ready to open a Gelato shop!

Although there's no exact date for the Gelato Shops opening, Joseph Settepani who runs the new Bruno's location says they'll sell their Gelato from Spring to Fall, according to NJ.com.

If you've never had Gelato before, do your taste buds a favor and try some immediately because it's like ice cream but kicked up a couple of notches!
