Four Symbols, Fourth album, 40 Years & Hey, What’s YOUR Symbol?
Forty years ago on November 8th, 1971, Led Zeppelin released their fourth album, untitled but known as Led Zeppelin Four, The Runes, The Hermit, Zoso, An Old Man Being Attacked By A Pile Of Dead Branches, etc., or simply Four Symbols for the symbols associated with the four band members: A feather for Robert Plant, A symbol for Saturn or Mercury (depending on which source you ask) for Jimmy Page, a triquetra with a circle for John Paul Jones, and 3-intersecting circles for John Bonham, which is also the symbol for Ballantine Beer (a coincidence? I think not). Here's my question: hey, man, what's your symbol? I mean, aside from using it as
a bad pick-up line, if you were to choose a symbol to represent yourself, what would it be and why?
