Cereal is one of the simple pleasures in life.

It's good for breakfast if you add some milk, or soy milk if you're me, and it's also good dry as a snack.

When I was a kid I'd start my day off with two huge bowls of cereal and a pop tart, needless to say, I was a pretty big kid!

My cereal of choice was a tie between Golden Grahams, Cracklin' Oat Bran (because I was an 8-year-old with the taste buds of a middle-aged man), or Reese's Puffs cereal.\

Anymore though I tend to stay away from cereal.

Oatmeal is fine and leaves me more satisfied than a snickers bar, but cold cereal and milk seldom leaves me feeling full an hour later.

That being said, if someone offered me five thousand dollars to eat cereal, I wouldn't say no.

That's exactly what Kellogg's is offering people who are willing to eat cereal for dinner.

Sounds too good to be true? It's not!

Kellogg's Cereal For Dinner Sweepstake's

It's open to anyone 18 or older in the United States and the rules are pretty simple: take a photo of you and your family eating Kellogg's brand cereal for breakfast, and post that photo to Instagram.

The contest actually kicked off last week, but there's still plenty of time to eat cereal for dinner, and try and win five grand.

The contest runs throughout the month of September, and you can get the full set of rules on Kellogg's website.

Believe it or not, the most popular cereal in New Jersey according to an NJ.com article that ranked the top 50 cereal's in Garden State is one I had never heard of.

Love Crunch, Dark Chocolate Macaroon.

It sounds delicious but won't help you out in this contest.

The number two cereal in Jersey was Frosted Flakes, and that one can help you win the cereal for dinner contest.
