Stafford Police say that Justin Dowling, 37, of Bensalem, PA was driving a Jeep Compass with a suspended license when he collided with the back of a commercial roll-off container truck that was trying to turn left onto Mermaid Drive off of Route 72 Tuesday afternoon around 4:00 pm.

Both Dowling and David DeCant, 49, of Barrington, New Jersey had been driving in the eastbound lanes of Route 72 at the time of the crash.

Dowling's Jeep Compass sustained heavy front end damage in the collision.

Stafford Police say Dowling, his passenger and two juveniles were airlifted to Jersey Shore Trauma Center for treatment.

Charges are currently pending against Dowling.
