You probably already knew about the Wawa store with a drive-thru that was opening, but did you know they were also opening up a standalone drive-thru?

I personally had no idea about the latter, and was pleasantly surprised to see Wawa's Facebook post showing off their newest addition:

Your eyes aren’t deceiving you…that’s our FIRST standalone drive-thru. Pull up for ultimate convenience at 549 W. Trenton Avenue in Falls Township 🙌

How cool is this? You're probably wondering what you can purchase here. A quick look at NBC 10's site showed that you can get their classic menu items (like Sizzlis, hoagies, mac and cheese, etc), along with newer options like burgers and fries - even cooler, you can bundle menu items in deals.

At this point, you may be wondering if there's anything they can do to keep it from moving slowly. The article points out that menus will be available as QR Codes that you can load on your phone. That's awesome - that way everyone can figure out what they want before they get to the window.

This standalone drive-thru is only in Pennsylvania - do you think we could use one of these at the Jersey Shore? I say YES! This is perfect for days when you don't want to run into Wawa, and you just need a quick bite. It would be perfect to have this somewhere before the bridge to Seaside Heights. That way you can grab a quick sandwich to bring to the beach. And there would be other full-service Wawas around to take the pressure off this location.

What do you think?
