Do Dog Yoga In Point Pleasant
"Doggy Noses & Yoga Poses" is coming to Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach!
On Saturday May 18th from 11am to 3pm, local rescues and shelters will bring a ton of adoptable dogs to the beach to wander around while you work on your own downward dog.
There will be four half-hour yoga classes, each one benefiting a different local rescue organization.
Tickets are available now, with a portion of the proceeds going to Rescue Ridge, Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue, Eleventh Hour Rescue, and the NJ Misfits Canine Rescue.
This is a family-friendly event, and children must be over the age of 11. Keep in mind that since this is a fundraising event for rescue groups, the only dogs allowed on the class floor will be those up for adoption - you can't bring your own pet from home. Also, due to potential canine dietary restrictions, no food or treats will be allowed on the class floor. To ensure the privacy and comfort of participants, spectators are not encouraged.
