If you're like me, Peeps are a part of your Easter tradition. I'm not sure if I'm really in the minority, or if the other side is just louder, but some people seems to think they're the worst food ever. C'mon, it's just a marshmallow and sugar, how could it be bad?

Lots of things are up in the air when it comes to Easter this year anyway. Will the country be back up and running, or will we still be stuck in our homes? Social distancing, shelter in place, total lockdown, or just back to business? Who knows. What we do know is that the Peep factories in Philadelphia and Bethlehem PA have been CLOSED.

Just Born is the company that makes Peeps, and issued a statement regarding the closure. According to that statement, all of the Peeps for this season have already been produced and shipped, but there could be shortage of other things for your Easter basket like Mike & Ike, Hot Tamales, and Peanut Chews.

If you see anyone hoarding Peeps, tell them not to worry. Just make sure you tell them from six feet away.
