The battle over the gas tax between Governor Chris Christie and the NJ State Senate continued as the office of the Governor released a list of over 900 projects that will be shut down at Friday at midnight to save costs.

The state Senate denied Christie's proposal to raise the gas tax by .23 cents per gallon in exchange for a 1 cent reduction in the sales tax. The Senate countered with their own plan, which would raise the gas tax by the same amount but reduce different taxes.

Acting Governor Kim Guadagno released the lists Wednesday afternoon, because Christie is currently on vacation with his wife in Italy.

NJ.com has a searchable version of the database so you can look up individual projects by Project, County, Town, Agency and Cost.
