Brick Summerfest Updates…The Party Will Be Better Than Ever!
You can't keep good music down! We told you back when they announced it that our favorite Brick Township tradition, Summerfest will return for its 26th year after having to shut down last summer due to COVID...now we have even more updates and it's going to be bigger and better than ever!

First update is that due to a recent announcement by Gov. Phil Murphy, the outdoor gathering and mask mandates are eliminated. Brick officials confirmed that the annual Summerfest celebration will go on, starting in July with a series of concerts, fireworks and other awesome events going on until August.
We'll get four concerts in total, each one will be followed by a fireworks display and other family-friendly events at Windward Beach Park.
Here is the official, updated concert schedule:
July 1: SuperTransAM (’70s and ’80s arena rock).
July 8: The Amish Outlaws (Pop/Rock)
July 15: The Nerds (Pop/Rock)
July 22: ’80s and ’90s theme music night.
In addition to fireworks there will be food trucks, a beer and wine garden and other activities too. I'm all about the vino!
Just a heads up, shuttle bus riders will be required to wear masks and social distance since a mask mandate is still in effect on public transportation. Of course this could change.
As if the concerts are not enough, Summerfest 2021 will also feature several family-friendly events in August. Here is a list of them:
Aug. 5 – SummerFest Car Show hosted by the Time Capsule Cruisers
Aug. 6 – Drive-In Movie featuring Back to the Future
Aug. 13 – Drive-In Movie featuring Abominable
Aug. 20 – Drive-In Movie featuring The Avengers
Aug. 27 – Drive-In Movie featuring Tom and Jerry
The Car Show begins at 6 p.m. The food court will be open during the car show. Drive-in movies begin at dusk.
Mayor Ducey is expecting the biggest turnout in the music fest's history! Thank you to Brick Shorebeat for the original reporting.
