A Popular Chicken Chain Is Opening Its First Ever Monmouth County, NJ Store
How do you feel about fried chicken?
Sometimes, it's the best thing ever while other times it's a little too greasy, it just depends on where you get it from.

For example, ACME has surprisingly good fried chicken.
Now it looks like a long-vacant structure in Monmouth County will be home to one of the most popular fried chicken chains in the country, and it's a chain that has big plans for the Jersey Shore.
Located near Route 66 and 35 in the Neptune Shopping Center, this new chicken spot is known for its perfect friend chicken, mac and cheese, and they even serve up light and fluffy biscuits.
It's some really solid home cooking!

The new chicken spot will be located in the former Coca-Cola factory off 35, which was closed down a few years ago.
If you've never had Bojangles Fried Chicken before, you'll want to make a trip to Neptune to give it a try. Not only are they making a real move to expand at the Jersey Shore but their first Monmouth County location will be opening soon according to APP.
Bojangles Is Making Big Moves Near The Jersey Shore
Not only is Bojangles getting ready to open its first Monmouth County location, but Ocean County is also on the list for a Bojangles.
Right off Route 9 in Beachwood there's somewhat of an eyesore; a vacant lot that's been described as the saddest strip mall in Ocean County.
There are plans in the works to redevelop that lot into a legitimate strip mall and it sounds like Bojangles is going to be a part of that, more on that here.
I've always been a big fan of when local spots grow at the Shore, but when it comes to fried chicken you really can't go wrong with a place like Bojangles in my opinion.
