Naming the best pizza burger at the Jersey Shore is something that's bound to cause controversy. It's one of those situations where you have one answer and you feel strongly about it, but so does everyone else.

The good news is that no matter how strongly you feel about your choice, you have to be ready for other people to have a differing opinion, and that's ok. So take a deep breath and get ready for it, because I'm about to tell you where I think the best Pizza Burger at the Jersey Shore is.

My vote lands firmly on Route 70 in Brick at the Brick Diner. I love it so much. The sauce is great, the cheese is fresh, and it is absolutely my happy place of diner food. I'll pass on the lettuce and tomatoes, but you can put some more of those great fries in their place.

I don't know what it is about the Pizza Burger at Brick Diner, but it is so awesome that I sometimes think about it on days I'm not even going there. Is that a little strange? I thought so.

Now the Pizza Burger is not something to be messed with, especially at the Jersey Shore. It combines the two things we really love...Italian food and diner food. There are few things more Jersey Shore than that.

I know there are going to be some differing opinions and I completely respect that. Shout out your favorite Pizza Burgert place and let's give all these great local restaurants the love they deserve and really need right now.

And here are two pet peeves I have about Pizza Burgers in general. First, hole the lettuce and tomato. i will never put that on a Pizza Burger, and don't put the fries on top of the open face of the burger. It soaks up my precious sauce. Thank you!
