We Have Finally Crowned The Absolute Best Diner In New Jersey
It's so hard to name the single best diner in a state that is known at the diner capital of the world. The internet keeps trying though, and we're just attempting to keep score.
One way to attempt to crown a winner is to compile data from dozens of sites that have their own opinion on the topic to see if one diner emerges from the rest.
There is certainly no shortage of opinions on the topic, so we started keeping score. We'll reach a conclusion and then you can tell us if you agree.
Spoon University. This website settled in on Chicken or the Egg in beautiful Long Beach Island. They specifically highlight their nationally known chicken wings. Chicken or he Egg is located at North Bay Ave. in Beach Haven.
Eat This, Not That. After careful research, this great food resource chose Tops Diner in East Newark, using Yelp reviews to aid their choice. They also mentioned their unique menu items as part of the reason for the choice.
Taste of Home. Another well-respected food website and their choice as the top diner in New Jersey is, well, Tops Diner. Are we sensing a theme? They point to that, extensive, creative menu as a big reason for their choice.
Reader's Digest. When Reader's Digest says it, people tend to pay attention. So, which diner do they think rises above all the rest in the capital of diners? They also chose Tops Diner.
24/7 Wall St. Another very popular site, and of all the diners in all of our great state, they also chose the amazing Tops Diner to put on the top of their list as well. The votes just keep coming in for Tops.
If we use these major sites as a resource, it seems pretty clear that there is, in fact, a diner that rises above all the other great diners we have in the Garden State, and that esteemed eatery is Tops Diner.
