Bayville’s Robert Morris is our Warrior of the Week
Townsquare Media and the Jay & Linda Grunin Foundation are teaming up to salute our local heroes with our Warrior of the Week program.
Congratulations to Robert Morris, our Warrior of the Week for the week of December 24th, 2018.
According to Robert's nominator:
My brother is a warrior on and off the field. Ever since he was a little boy he had dreamed of becoming a US Marine. After graduating from Central Regional High School in 2017 and turning 18 in July he set out after what he needed to do to become one of the few and the proud. He inspires not only me but everyone around him to be their very best every day and to strive to follow their dreams. This young man loves his family and his country so much that he is willing to put his life on the line. With less than a year into his service, he has already ranked to Lance Corporal. Only a little more than three years until this hometown hero comes home (hopefully) for good. He makes me the proudest sister and I could never thank him for what he sacrifices for all of us Americans every day. This is the most compassionate warrior I've ever had the honor of meeting.
Congratulations to Robert Morris, our Warrior of the Week.
Do you know a deserving past or present military member? Nominate them now. Every Military Monday, we’ll share one of the nominations and honor that person as our Warrior of the Week.
