An Atlantic City woman is heading to prison for 15-years for stabbing a man, she was in a domestic relationship with, at a home in Absecon.

Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor Cary Shill announced Monday that the sentence of 37-year old Khaleeia Bass comes with an 85% period of parole ineligibility.

Bass previously pleaded guilty on January 6, 2022, to Aggravated Manslaughter in connection to the fatal stabbing of Kenneth Fenwick Jr. on November 1, 2018.

On the night of the murder, Absecon Police responded to a 911 call around 8:25 pm about a man who was stabbed inside of 513 Clayton Avenue.

Police responding to the scene found Fenwick inside who was then brought to AtlantiCare Medical Center City Campus, where he later died from his injuries.

Atlantic County Assistant Prosecutor Erika Halayko is representing the state in this case.

Acting Prosecutor Shill said that this investigation was conducted by the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office Major Crimes Unit, Absecon Police, Egg Harbor Township Police, and Pleasantville Police.
