TGI Fridays Closed In Toms River, Leading To Tommy's Tavern And Tap

We've also seen this type of change in Toms River, with the old TGI Fridays off Hooper closing a while ago, and we now know that a Tommy's Tavern and Tap is going to be opening there; construction is already underway.

Another change is coming to the Jersey food scene, and this one is seemingly out of nowhere, leaving both employees and patrons in shock and awe.

The announcement came via social media yesterday, and the comment section was filled with people reminiscing about the times they've had in the restaurant.

Arooga's In East Brunswick, NJ, Is Now Closed For Good

It appears as though Arooga's in East Brunswick is now permanently closed.

If you're not familiar with Arooga's, it's a pretty popular sports bar and restaurant. I've heard the pretzel bites are out of this world.

There's no word on what exactly prompted the closure; however, it's not the first time we've seen news of Arooga's having to close.

Earlier this year, we learned that the Arooga's in Howell had also suddenly shuttered its doors to the public.
