You can drive fast, swing, and climb - every kid's dream (and us parents, too.)

Or, parents have a drink and let the kids play. That's what it's all about, it's time for all of us to have a little fun and relax while doing it.

Mainland Adventure Park just opened May 1st for the season and is located on Rt. 72 in Manahawkin, NJ. Adventure Park has so many activities, my favorite being the go-karts.

They have an aerial course, zip lines, a climbing wall, go-karts, and a play fort for the kids. The aerial course is for adults and kids with over 50 aerial activities and a 50-foot climbing wall with different routes. What makes this Adventure Park pretty cool, all this is hanging over the go-karts. While you're driving, look up - someone probably is hanging above or zip-lining.

I've never tried the aerial course, I'm not sure if I could, I think I'd be scared. But, if you're totally into adventure, you'll have a lot of fun.

Go-karts are walk-up only, but you can book your aerial adventure by clicking here. For all prices, click here.

Now, for the drinks for Mom and Dad while the kids play - The Mainland has firepits and a great outdoor bar.

If you're wondering about different ages and what they can do, click here - there might be some good information about different ages and activities for kids.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
