This last year showed us that a glass of wine at night or your favorite sip of liquor might be what the doctor ordered. (Just kidding, sort of).

There are delivery services that have become so wildly busy during the pandemic. But before we were getting our food delivered, many liquor stores were already delivering alcohol. I've never heard of this alcohol delivery app, Drizly.

Did you ever hear of Drizly? It's an app for the iPhone or Android. Do you think this is crazy? Well, it's pretty popular. New Jersey has pork roll, saltwater taffy, and now Drizly.

Drizly is like Door Dash or Uber Eats with food delivery from local restaurants. Instead of food though, it's alcohol delivery from local liquor stores. If you have a favorite bottle of wine, tequila, or whatever beverage you're feeling you want to be delivered. Download the app, because many Toms River liquor stores use Drizly.

The Toms River liquor stores that use Drizly, according to drizly.com, are Spirits Unlimited Crossroads, Spirits Unlimited Fischer Blvd., Spirits Unlimited Rt. 37, Spirits Unlimited Rt. 9, Super Buy Rite, Silverton, and Super Buy Rite of Toms River.

Here's how it works.

When you have the Drizly app downloaded and ready to go, check out the web browser for your favorite beer, wine, or liquor delivered right to your doorstep in under 60 minutes. It's a contactless delivery and in case you didn't know alcohol delivery is legal in New Jersey.
