Aerosmith’s ‘Dream On’ Could be Massachusetts State Rock Song

Yes, Aerosmith's "Dream On" could be officially made Massachusetts very own rock theme.

The residents of the state can't seem to agree on it, though.

And according to ultimateclassicrock.com, politicians are divided about it, too.

"...another proposed piece of legislation calls for ‘Road Runner’ by ’70s rockers the Modern Lovers to be the official jam of the Bay State."

That might sound goofy to us rock (and Aerosmith) fans, but there's a genuine debate going on there.

So even though everyone knows the Bad Boys of Boston are to Massachusetts what Springsteen is to New Jersey, that Modern Lovers song has the lyric "I'm in love with Massachusetts" and other state references.
