9/11 Memorial Events at the Jersey Shore

Atlantic Highlands – A remembrance ceremony begins at 8 a.m. at the Mount Mitchill Scenic Overlook.

Freehold – A 9 /11 commemorative ceremony outside the Hall of Records in downtown Freehold Sunday at 5:30pm.

Middletown Township – A remembrance ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Middletown WTC Memorial Garden on Church Street to pay tribute to the 37 residents killed in the World Trade Center attack.

Seaside Heights – A remembrance ceremony takes place in front of Seaside Heights Borough Hall at 9am.

Toms River – Toms River Volunteer Fire Company # 1 hosts their annual ceremony at noon on Sunday at the Firefighter Statue located at the corner of Washington Street and Robbins Street in downtown Toms River.
