New Jersey has had a run of luck lately, even if no one is winning the grand prize in Powerball.

Lotto officials confirmed that a supermarket in West Deptford in Gloucester County sold a Powerball ticket that matched five numbers, but not the Powerball, landing the buyer a cool million dollar prize!

Five tickets worth $50k were also sold in NJ:

  • Exito Fresh Market on Montclair Avenue in Newark
  • 7-Eleven on Lindbergh Road in Newark
  • Walsh’s Deli & Liquors on David Avenue in Kearny
  • 7-Eleven on Route 1 North in the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick
  • Monmouth Gas on North Broadway in Long Branch

With no big winner, the Powerball has climbed to an estimated $625 million (cash option of $380.6 million), which would be the seventh largest prize in US lottery history and fourth biggest Powerball jackpot.

Good luck!
