World’s Tallest Water Slide Opens

This ride is 168 feet tall--higher than Niagara Falls.

It opened yesterday to news media and VIP guests and will open to the public today.

It's located at Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City, Kansas.

According to kansas.com:

The ride is called Verrückt — its German name means “crazy” — and was certified in April as the tallest water slide in the world by Guinness World Records.

Even with the barrier it looks pretty formidable.
