The White Sox were in Texas, and third baseman Todd Frazier went all out to catch a foul ball. He leapt head-first into the stands, came crashing down, and immediately sprung up and sprinted back to the dugout with an injury.

White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Frazier needed 5 stitches in his lip, but doesn't expect him to miss any games.

This weekend will be a homecoming of sorts for Frazier as the White Sox play a three-game series against the Yankees in New York.

Frazier was born in Toms River and played on the 1998 Little League World Series Champion team. He also played baseball at Toms River High School South and Rutgers University before being drafted by the Cincinnati Reds. He was traded to the White Sox during the 2015 offseason.
