Todd Frazier, Third Baseman for the Cincinnati Reds and Toms River resident has spent this off-season helping out in the relief effort to help out people who have lost so much from Superstorm Sandy.
On Saturday December 1st, at 10am, the Toms River Little League indoor hitting facility will be dedicated and renamed to the Frazier family. The complex is located on Windsor Ave, and the ceremony is open to the public
The hitting facility will now be called the "Frazier Field House"
You might remember the name Todd Frazier from the 1998 World Champion Toms River East Little League team. In the final game of the tournament, he was the winning pitcher in the Box score and went 4-4 with a home run.
Well 14 years later, Todd is a major league baseball player. Frazier has earned a spot on the 40 man roster for the start of the 2012 baseball season. He is hitting .302 this spring and leads the Reds with five home run and 15 RBI.
