The 2016 Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon has concluded after collecting an astounding $121,881 for Ocean of Love, a local non-profit that supports children of Ocean County with cancer and their families.

Andy Chase lived on a billboard in the Target/Lowe's parking lot on Hooper Avenue in Toms River and refused to come down until our goal of $105,700 was reached.  Not only was our goal achieved, but it was surpassed, with a total tally of $121,881 and counting!

It was learned earlier this week that Linda Gillick, Executive Director of Ocean of Love and longtime billboard contributor would be stepping down from her role after years of dedicated service.  After Linda's announcement, we knew that we had to send her out on a high note.

As always, the week was filled with highs and lows.  From heartbreaking stories of angels lost, to uplifting words from survivors, family, and friends, Ocean of Love's net seemed to be felt by all.  105.7 The Hawk is incredibly proud to be partnered with this uniquely giving organization and we look forward to this emotional week year after year.

None of this would have been made possible without the support and donations of our amazing listeners, businesses, public service groups and community members who participated.  On behalf of everyone at 105.7 The Hawk, we are proud to present the amount of $121,881 to Ocean of Love.
