It's hard to believe that another holiday season is upon us. It is really amazing how quickly time goes by. And this time of year makes you reflect on what you have around you.

Now that the Hawk's Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon is over, I want to say how thankful I am that, with your generous help, we were able to raise money to ease the suffering of Ocean County families who so desperately need our help.
And I want to again share some words about this wonderful organization (and its amazing founder, Linda Gillick) that so deserves all the support you showed it.
Yesterday, we made a considerable amount of progress towards our goal of $105,700...but not before being faced with probably the most tribulating experience we've had to date at Billboard Week.
Andy's a mensch. He's living on a billboard for a week, of course, to raise money for Ocean of Love. He does it every year, and really, truly cares about the children with cancer and their families that are helped out by this wonderful charity.
So, Andy, here's to you. ;-)

There may have been a little rain today, but the only downpour was donations on this great first day at Billboard Radiothon 2012!
What started on Monday, October 15 at 5 p.m. and will end Friday, October 19 at 7 p.m., Andy Chase is living on a billboard above the Target parking lot on Hooper Avenue in Toms River to raise money for Ocean of Love, a local organization dedicated to supporting families in the fight against pediatric cancer.
The Ocean of Love "Billboard Radiothon" is exactly a week away, and I am asking for your help in helping Ocean County families whose children have cancer.
Please read this letter that I wrote explaining what the radiothon is all about, and why it is so important to make a donation to Ocean of Love.
Oceanhappening.com is a website that has to do with everything Ocean County, NJ.
Every year they do their "Happenings List", and they ask their readers to vote for different things throughout Ocean County, NJ . One of the categories this year is favorite/best charity organization. Ocean of Love is nominated.
On May 23, retired New Jersey State Trooper Craig Potter will start a 4,500 mile journey from Seaside, Oregon to New Jersey to raise money for Ocean of Love.
