Congratulations to the New York Rangers! For the seventh year in a row, they will be playing in the postseason with the quest for the Stanley Cup.

Last night the Rangers faced the San Jose Sharks, and going into the game,  they only needed one point to clinch a spot in the playoffs. All they needed was to win the game, or end regulation in a tie to get the point. The tie is what happened.

Unfortunately, they lost the game 4-3 in overtime, and it would have been nice to get the win, but they are headed to the post-season with the tie, and that is all the matters.

The first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs begins on Wednesday, April 12th. It's not determined yet who the Rangers will be facing, but it is likely that it will be the Montreal Canadiens.

Let's Go Rangers!!
