The New York Rangers closed out the Montreal Canadians in six games in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs Saturday night with a 3-1 victory to move on to the second round.

The New York Rangers will now face the Ottawa Senators in a best of game series that begins Thursday Night in Ottawa

The last time the Rangers faced the Senators in the playoffs was back in 2011-2012 season when the Rangers beat them in seven games to move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Game 2- Saturday 4/29: N.Y. Rangers at Ottawa, 3 p.m.

Game 4- Thursday, May 4: Ottawa at N.Y. Rangers, 7:30 p.m.
