Last week, we told you how Frankie Edgar was getting ready for his upcoming fight on one of the biggest stages in the world: Madison Square Garden.  For Edgar, fight camp isn't the only thing he does close to home.  As we found out in our 2nd installment of our 3-part series, the Toms River East graduate is proud of his hometown, and is more than happy to give back.

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Frankie 'The Answer' Edgar is just weeks away from fighting on perhaps the biggest mixed martial arts card to date and the first of its kind at historic Madison Square Garden: UFC 205.  Luckily for Edgar, the Toms River native isn't traveling far to compete, or to train.

It's (almost) time!  The highly anticipated UFC 200 will be seen by millions of fight fans this weekend. Despite the recent controversy and subsequent pulling of Jon Jones from the main event due to an alleged doping violation, there are still plenty of reasons to watch.

Frankie Edgar, the pride of Toms River, is opening a new UFC Gym, the largest one in New Jersey.

Except he won't be fighting Conor McGregor. He will be taking on Jose Aldo in a rematch going back to 2013. UFC 200, which will take place July 9th in Las Vegas, also will feature Conor McGregor who will stay at the 170lbs weight class and will fight Nate Diaz in a rematch from last month where Diaz submitted McGregor.

MMA is coming to New York! FINALLY!!!! New York was the last state to ban Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). But on Tuesday that all changed. New York lawmakers voted 113-25 in favor of lifting the ban that had been in effect since the 90's.

UFC Fighter, and Toms River native, Frankie Edgar has been wanting a title shot versus Conor McGregor for a long time now! Edgar was all set for it to happen after he beat Chad Mendez back in December, but UFC President had different plans...
