Except he won't be fighting Conor McGregor. He will be taking on Jose Aldo in a rematch going back to 2013.

UFC 200, which will take place July 9th in Las Vegas, also will feature Conor McGregor who will stay at the 170lbs weight class and will fight Nate Diaz in a rematch from last month where Diaz submitted McGregor.

Of course Frankie Edgar has been wanting a title shot against McGregor for months now, but with McGregor staying at the heavier weight class to fight Diaz again, McGregor will be vacating his feather-weight title belt and it will be up for grabs to the winner of the Frankie Edgar vs Jose Aldo fight.

Aldo beat Edgar by unanimous decision at UFC 156 back in 2013.
