You can grab some fresh scooped ice cream from Yellow Brick Road, or if you'd prefer you could get some cool Italian Ice from Ralph's in Toms River.

One of the shore's most popular places to get a cool treat during the summer was at Strollo's Lighthouse in Point Pleasant.

It appears though, that new owners are getting ready to take over Strollo's Lighthouse in Point Pleasant and will continue the tradition of serving up ice cream at the Jersey Shore.

Salty's Inlet Ice Cream Announced It's Opening In Point Pleasant, NJ

Family-owned and operated by the Saladinofamily, Patch reports that Salty's Inlet Ice Cream will open up in the former Strollo's Lighthouse location on May 3rd.

The new shop will have a focus on hard and soft ice cream and will also have a menu filled with specialty sundaes, slushies, shakes, and more and each will be named after Point Pleasant in some way shape, or form.

This seems like such a fun ice cream place, they'll have giveaways throughout the summer, weekly specials, and will also offer coffee-based ice cream products since they're teaming up with Divi Tree, so you could get a cold brew topped with soft serve.
