Robin Trower at 68: Excellent Reviews for His Latest Release

Happy (early) birthday to Robin Trower, who was born on March 9, 1945 in London, England.

He's had a successful career with Procol Harum and as a solo artist.

I was lucky enough to catch Robin many years ago in one of the first concerts I ever went to and I can still hear the haunting echo of his guitar in "Bridge of Sighs" echoing through the venue.

Of course, Bridge of Sighs is his signature song, but he's done so much more down the years.

His latest record is getting some great reviews.

In fact, according to trowerpower.com, Firebrand Magazine has given the album a 10 out of 10 rating.

Released last month, the album is called "Roots and Branches".
