This summer, we told you about the movement to change the name of North Wildwood back to "Angelsea", the original name of the area until it was incorporated into the Wildwoods in 1885.

After Election Day yesterday, voters rejected the name change with only 39.36% of voters in support, according to data from the Cape May County Clerk.

Regardless of the outcome of the vote, it's somewhat interesting to note that a study found that changing the name would cost between $20,000 and $30,000 to reprint municipal assets with the Anglesea name.
