The voice-over world lost a legend with the passing of Hal Douglas. You may not recognize his face, but you've definitely heard his voice.

As a person who makes their living with their voice, I'm always fascinated by the big-time voice-over guys. I'm interested in their story, how they got to be so famous while remaining relatively anonymous. Douglas got his start in radio, moved on to production, then got into doing voice-overs in the 1970s and continued through the 200s.  It's an aspiration for many of us to have such a recognizable voice, and it's sad whenever a memorable one passes away.
