Approximately 30 dolphins beached themselves on a Brazilian shore, just north of Rio De Janeiro. A group of locals and tourists helped rescue them in this awesome video.

 

Scientists don't understand why dolphins beach themselves, but they are known to occasionally do it in mass numbers like this.

It's so sad to actually hear the chirps and whistles and cries from the dolphins, but so wonderful to see people helping out.
